How do our programmes work?

0-5k beginners group

Our 10 week 0-5k programme is perfect for complete beginners or those of you who might have tried before but struggled alone. With a combination of fun exercises, walking and running over the course of 10 weeks, we will take you from sofa to superstar with manageable and enjoyable sessions you can take at your own pace. Each session has two trained and qualified run leaders, so no-one will ever get left behind.

The 10 week programme costs £60 includes a free Riverside Rebels t-shirt plus a weekly newsletter with suggested run workouts and useful advice for beginners. There is also a free social run session each week. If you attend this and your main session, the cost equates to £3 per session.

3-5k Intermediate Group

A gentle and relaxed pace means this 11 week programme is suitable for those returning from injury or those runners who would like more time to build up their strength and distance. The 11 week programme costs £66 and includes a free T-shirt if you are a new member.

5-10k Groups

Our 5-10k programme is designed to help you take your running to the next level. Suitable for those who have completed the 0-5k programme or those who are regular runners but want to improve.

The 11 week programme costs £66 and includes a free T-shirt for new members.

Social Runs!

Relaxed and friendly meet-ups – joining us is optional and free to those who attended their weekly group.

NEW Speed sessions!

Monday night will now be speed night 🙂 If you’re looking to do more focussed sessions involving only speed work such as intervals and tempo running come along on Monday evenings. These sessions will be for ALL abilities, but will always be about improving your pace. Tuesday and Wednesday sessions will still offer a mix of sessions changing week on week.
